Summer 2021 saw the inaugural launch of our most ambitious undertaking to date, the ‘Hang Tough Annual Open Call’. European artists practicing in various 2D mediums were invited to submit their work for consideration via Instagram, culminating in an exciting ‘Winter Print Show’ with the 50 successful candidates in Dublin based gallery – Hang Tough Contemporary, Exchequer St. With more than 4,000 entries received over a five week period, the scope of the Open Call was enormous and the breadth of talent was truly stunning.
